Emily Altman’s practice as a neutral ranges from multi-billion dollar asset-backed securities cases to disputes involving employment contracts, insurance, bank fraud, securities sales and trading, breach of contract, real estate, art, intellectual property, partnerships, private equity investments and family businesses.
A former Wall Street lawyer who spent over a decade at Davis Polk & Wardwell, Altman was a Managing Director and Head of International Government Relations at JPMorgan Chase and, prior to that, ran International Government Relations at Morgan Stanley. She is a cum laude graduate of Harvard College and a graduate of Columbia Law School, where she was a member of the Law Review. She clerked for Judge Jack B. Weinstein, Federal District Judge for the Eastern District of New York.
